If you are married then the chances of you and your spouse hitting a bad patch is very likely.  Marriage doesn’t stop all the ups and downs of normal life.  As individuals we are extremely complex beings and when we become couples the complexity doesn’t end.  When we do hit a bad patch we very often don’t know how to react.

Of course, there are problems in every marriage that are unpleasant.  But then there are those that are critical.  It’s always a good idea to get the perspective of a person who is not emotionally involved.  It’s natural to run to family or close friends for advice.  But stop and think about what you’re doing.  What you really want to know is ‘how to save my marriage’.
